I confess I'm a 55 year old male and polished my first knob last night and liked it.

Was in an adult book store booth and found a big black knob protruding from the wall and had to give it a try. It was very hard. The urge to polish it was overwhelming. I decided saliva was the best polish to use on it. After several minutes of buffing and polishing it had a very creamy finish and the knob was nice and shiney !
